Main Railway Station
The main railway station (Dworzec Główny) is conveniently situated at the northern tip of the Old Town. From the platform, follow signs for the stairs going down, walk through the underpass and then up the ramp. To get to the main train station building fom here, follow the roofed walkway on your left. Inside this building you'll find a currency exchange at the Pekao Bank (open 08:00 - 18:00, Sat 08:00 - 12:00, closed Sun). There's also an information desk and public telephones. To get to town, follow the signs wyjscie do centrum, left from the ramp and main station building exits. Turn right after the post office building and you'll be at a tram/bus stop. You can walk to town by walking through the underpass, emerging in the charming Planty that surrounds the Old Town.
