Jerzy Panek (1918 - 2001) - graphic artist and painter. For most of his life he practised wood carving. He made about 500 graphic works. He was inspired by folk art, for example, in 'Self-portrait in a white hat' or 'Golub Castle'. In the latter part of his life he made chalk-and-ink drawings, mainly self-portraits.
